Get ready for Uthsav 2016

Manama : A mega musical, dance and comedy show – Uthsav 2016 – will be held at the Indian School Ground in Isa Town on March 11.

The organisers, BigFace Events Company, an innovative venture under Strategic Publicity and Advertising Company (SPAC), made the announcement at a press conference held at Premier Hotel Juffair yesterday.  

The major attraction of the programme is the presence of Indian actor and cultural icon Mohanlal, who is known for his versatile and natural
acting. 

Uthsav 2016 is directed by Indian comedian and television host Nadirshah and features South Indian actors such as Namitha Pramod and Shamna Kasim. Apart from the actors, playback singers like Madhu Balakrishnan, Rimi Tomy, musician Stephen Devassy and Television anchor Ranjini Haridas will also be part of the event.

Marking the ticket launch, SPAC chairman P Unnikrishnan handed over the first red carpet ticket to Al Boom Trading Managing Director Thilakan.

Reserved areas (Red carpet) ticket, which will be restricted to 80 seats, is priced at BD200 (admit 4) and BD100 (admit 1). VVIP ticket is priced at BD60 (admit 4) and BD25 (admit 1).

Other ticket categories include VIP BD30 (admit 4) and BD15 (admit 1); Gold BD15 (admit 4) and BD5 (admit 1); Silver BD10 (admit 4) and BD3 (admit 1). Entry to the ground will start at 6pm and the show begins at 7pm. 

Uthsav 2016 is the second programme after the successful Jayaram Show 2015, which was held in December last year at Al Ahli stadium in Zinj.
