More efforts urged to protect Bahraini youngsters from terrorism

Information and Parliament Affairs Minister Isa Abdulrahman Al-Hammadi underlined the ongoing efforts to boost security and protect Bahraini youngsters from being misled by allegations disseminated by the terrorist organisations.

In the post-Cabinet press briefing today, and commenting on the Interior Minister's speech yesterday, he said stepping up travel measures to insecure countries on citizens, particularly those aged 14 to 18, aims to protect them from being misled into unacceptable activities or falling victims of negative polarization. He underscored the need to provide every care to this category of people, pointing out the responsibilities to be shared by the family, the community and official parties.

He noted that the number of Bahraini youngsters who joined such organisations is very low, compared to other nationalities, stressing the need to further curb the situation.
