Expat woman found dead on Manama walkway
Manama: An expat woman was found dead on a walkway in the busy streets of Manama today (Tuesday).
Kurshitha Muhamed Hussain from Thiruvananthapuram, in the south Indian state of Kerala was found lifeless near Karime Building adjacent to LuLu road at around 7am. It is still not clear how she died.
The body is now kept at the Salmaniya Medical Complex Mortuary.
According to the LMRA website her visa is valid however details are not updated.
Her job status says 'housemaid'.
The Indian Community Relief Fund (ICRF) volunteer Subair Kannur said that the embassy is aware of the matter.
The police are investigating the case.
