Unanimous efforts urged to face challenges

ManamaPrime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa reviewed ways to push the development process forward by opening up new horizons of regional and international cooperation.

The Prime Minister and the Crown Prince were holding a meeting at the Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.

The two leaders asserted the importance of solidarity among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries in overcoming the multifaceted challenges currently faced by the region, particularly at the economic level.

They pointed out that the government would continue adopting initiatives that ensure taking advantage of the existing resources to maintain the pace of the development process and fulfil the citizens’ aspirations during His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s prosperous reign.

“The nature of the current phase and the challenges require exerting collective efforts. It also requires harnessing of all potentials and making optimum use of the resources to consolidate the Kingdom’s status and preserve its security in the region,” the two leaders added.
