Bahrain opposition leader sentenced
Bahrain sentenced opposition leader Ebrahim Sharif to a year in prison for a speech defaming Bahrain. Sharif, former secretary-general of the National Democratic Action Society, was convicted today (Wednesday) on a charge of inciting hatred towards the kingdom and its leadership.
