Bahrain doctor held for inciting protests
Manama : A medical doctor is in the dock for insulting a sister country and inciting the public.
Identified as Saeed Al Samaheeji, the man reportedly asked people not to abide by the laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He is said to have asked the public to take to the streets and carry out demonstrations and protests.
The man was arrested after a tip-off was sent to the Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security Directorate about his unlawful activities.
His trial was adjourned yesterday until March to hear prosecution witnesses.
