Campaign on late Amir hogs limelight

ManamaThe Board of Trustees of the Isa Award for Services to Humanity yesterday informed that their campaign, “Cherished Times with the Late Amir HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa,” is attracting local, regional and international attention.

Launched here on February 2 at the Isa Cultural Centre, the campaign has yielded a very positive response with images and footage already being received and more expected as the campaign gains momentum, they said.

The three-month long campaign aims to collate photographs, testimonies or videos highlighting the humanitarian achievements of the late Amir of Bahrain. The campaign is being conducted by email and telephone with organisations, individuals, embassies and associations around the world and is also active on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and twitter: #wherewasShIsa

Submissions received will be used to create a new documentary to be shown at the 3rd Isa Awards for Services to Humanity ceremony, taking place in mid-2017 under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in the presence of senior Arab and international figures.

Contributions to this campaign can be made via www.isaaward.org or emailed to communication@isaaward.org. Those who require assistance with uploading their submissions can contact: +973 17 366 166.
