Manama : A new parliamentary bloc was officially announced on  the House of Representatives premises yesterday.

The nine-member group was introduced as the National Partnership Bloc. The bloc, which is spearheaded by MP Hamad Al Dossary, also includes lawmakers such as Jamal Buhassan, Adel Hameed, Jameela Al Sammak, Majeed Al Asfoor, Jalal Kadhem, Nasser Al Qasseer, Ghazi Al Rahma and Majid Al Majid.

During a press conference held yesterday to announce the freshly formed group, Al Dossary stressed that the bloc would focus on economic and social development.

The chairman also said the bloc is considering  development of the country’s economy, especially during a time when oil prices, the main state income, are sinking to its lowest in decades.

Al Dossary added that the bloc would also focus on finding solutions for unemployment, housing issues, education, health and supervision on Government authorities.
