246,353 people entered Bahrain from February 18-24

Manama : The Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow-up at the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports & Residence (GDNPR) on Thursday said 246,353 people had entered the Kingdom of Bahrain between February 18 to 24. He added 201,780 travellers arrived from Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries via King Fahad Causeway, 44,035 through Bahrain International Airport and 538 through ports.

The 25-kilometre stretching King Fahad Causeway, the first manmade terrestrial link between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, was opened on November 26, 1986. It has ever since been used by millions of travelers and vehicles, making it one of the busiest traffic areas in the Arab world.
