2 kg of suspected heroin seized at Bahrain International Airport

Air Port Customs Directorate in cooperation with the Anti-narcotics Directorate have seized 2 kilograms of suspected heroin. Director of Air Ports Customs, yesterday, said a foreign traveler was referred to the red lane when he drew suspicions, adding, the seized substance was hidden in eight plastic bags inside two wooden sticks in a wooden box. He further said the suspect and the confiscated items were referred to the Anti-narcotics Directorate for legal proceedings.
