HRH PM’s support for religious freedom noted

Manama : Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has received a congratulatory message from the Secretary-General of the Bahrain Federation of Expatriate Associations (BFEA) Betsy Mathieson on obtaining the Flame of Peace Award in tribute for his outstanding humanitarian role in promoting peace, boosting relations between peoples and strengthening the pillars of regional and global security.

Mathieson extended, on behalf of expatriate communities in Bahrain, sincere congratulations to HRH Premier on the Flame of Peace Award, conferred on him by the Peace Promotion Association, making him the first Arab Prime Minister to receive the prestigious honour.

“As expatriates, we seize this occasion to express to Your Royal Highness utmost thanks and gratitude for supporting our religious freedom, and consolidating peaceful coexistence, harmony, security and stability among various cultures, nationalities and religions,” she said, stressing that HRH Premier is a true model of a wise, compassionate and far-sighted statesman.

“We express our deep pride for being part of the Bahrain family that enjoys your care and wise leadership,” she added.
