TOASTMASTERS ANNUAL SPEECH CONTEST

Toastmasters International Area 76 of Division A annual speech contest will be held on February 26, 2016 at Bahrain Society of Engineers Hall, Juffair starting at 8.00 am. Area 76 of Division A comprises of ICAB, Adhari, Ashrafs and NTS Toastmasters. Toastmasters International, a world leader in communication and leadership development, is a non-profit organization, spread over 135 countries with more than 15,400 clubs. Speech contests are a toastmasters’ tradition wherein members have an opportunity to showcase their talents.

MEGA MEDICAL EXHIBITION, SEMINAR & CHECK-UP DESERT CAMP VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT

Venue: Desert Pearl Camp, Sakhir

The Indian Club hosts Desert Camp Volleyball Tournament 2016 on Friday, 26 February at AABEX’s Desert Pearl Camp from 8am till midnight. There will be men’s and women’s tournaments , open to all nationalities and trophies and cash

prizes will be awarded to the leading teams There will also be a number of raffles and spot prize competitions. Free shuttle buses will throughout the day.

AN EVENING WITH HARRY REDKNAPP

Venue: The Radisson Diplomat

Hotel, Bahrain Former Football Manager Harry Redknapp will be the star attraction at the The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence & Spa at the Sports Speaker Mena event on 26 February at 7.30pm. BAHRAIN STRAYS DINNER EVENT

Bahrain Strays, a group started by Fathiya Al Bastaki is hosting a Dinner Event on Friday, 26 February at 7.30pm in aid of the activities of the group. The purpose of this gathering is to learn more about what they are doing for the strays in Bahrain - a group of volunteers dedicating their time to feed, rescue, and neuter the strays. It has been and continues to be a long journey and they need all the support they can get.

COWBOY CARNIVAL

Venue: Muharraq Horse-riding School

The Cowboy Carnival, largely a family outdoor event, aimed at the Riders in Bahrain, will take place on Friday, 26 February at the Muharraq Horse Riding

School and will include craft & food stalls for the whole family. For kids, there will be a safe play & game area (jumping castle & pony rides) to have fun during the day. Also will be available, a mini petting zoo where visitors can have inter-action with the animals.
