Bahraini jailed for making bombs
Manama : The High Criminal Court sentenced a man to five years in jail on grounds of making a bomb.
The defendant is said to have used Pringles cans to construct the device that was spotted in Sanabis after security force members dispersed a riot.
Five bullets were also discovered near the improvised bomb, which was eventually dismantled by explosive experts.
The Bahraini man was arrested in connection with the device after the fingerprints traced from the scene were found to be matching his fingerprints.
The defendant was sentenced to death for being implicated in a bombing that killed three police officers in Daih.
