Modern Education School licence revoked
Manama : The Ministry of Education has revoked the licence of Modern Education School as it was operating without complying with the law.
The Ministry had earlier given the school an opportunity to operate the kindergarten classes and rectify their drawbacks after suspending its licence.
However, a recent visit by a team of specialists from the Ministry revealed that the building was decaying and is not fit to be used as an educational institution as it is a threat to the safety of the students.
The students were transferred to other kindergartens and the Ministry took legal action by forwarding the case to
the public prosecution to ensure that the parents are refunded.
In the event of violation of the law by the school, the Ministry warned parents not to deal with the school.
