Bahrain to host key conference
Bahrain is set to host a key conference on modern developments in the refining and petrochemical industries from April 17 to 19.
The event will be held under the patronage of Energy Minister Dr Abdulhussain Mirza.
It is organised by the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) in cooperation with the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA).
Dr. Mirza said the conference would be hosted by Bahrain because of the success of previous conferences organised by OPEC in coordination with NOGA.
He stressed that Bahrain welcomes such functions as it is an important member of OPEC.
