HRH Premier lauds Saudi Arabia's support towards Bahrain

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has asserted that the late HRH Prince Saud Al-Faisal succeeded in changing world policies, and was able, thanks to the directives of Saudi Kings and leaders, to strengthen GCC decisions in the global arena.

HRH Premier was speaking while receiving, at the Gudaibiya Palace today, the Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Makkah Governor HRH Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies HRH Prince Turki Al-Faisal, who are on a visit to the kingdom to attend the inauguration of a main avenue in Manama named after the late HRH Prince Saud Al-Faisal.

HRH Premier welcomed the two Princes' kind visit to the kingdom, praising the outstanding Bahraini-Saudi relations as a unique model of fraternal relations spearheaded by the forefathers on the solid bases of mutual love and common destiny.

HRH Premier recalled with deep pride, appreciation and gratitude Saudi Arabia's honourable supportive stances towards Bahrain and its people, stressing that Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, is the protective shield of the Arab and Islamic nations, citing its historic stances in supporting the Right, Justice and the Arab Nation's dignity and sovereignty.

Allah Almighty blessed Saudi Arabia with a wise and highly-aware leaderships, who, since the days of the Founding King Abdulaziz Al Saud, have spared no effort to champion just Arab and Islamic causes, and therefore it has well-deservedly become a leading Arab and Islamic country, he said.

HRH the Prime Minister affirmed that the late HRH Prince Saud Al-Faisal had followed in the footsteps of Al-Saud leaders regarding their historic and honourable stances towards Bahrain.

He asserted that the Kingdom of Bahrain had named one of its main avenues after the late Prince in recognition of his brotherly stances and as a token of gratitude to him, stressing that the late HRH Prince Saud enjoyed a distinguished status in the hearts of the Bahraini leaders and people.

HRH the Prime Minister recalled the deceased's memorable stances while defending Bahrain at various gatherings, stressing that the late Prince Saud will always be remembered by the Bahraini people, being a model for courage and dedication in serving his country, as well as the Arab and Islamic nations. 

HRH Premier reviewed with the kingdom's distinguished guests ways to bolster bilateral cooperation in various fields, expressing satisfaction of the advance level of joint cooperation and coordination on all levels.

The Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques affirmed that Bahrain's honouring of the late HRH Prince Saud Al-Faisal reflects the depth of bilateral relations, as well as the noble stances of Bahrain's leadership and people.

He expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH Premier and the Bahraini leadership and people for the gracious welcome and hospitality accorded to them, which, he said, proves anew the strength pf bilateral ties and the common destiny binding the two kingdoms and their brotherly peoples.

He lauded the development and progress boom currently witnessed by the kingdom in all fields, wishing Bahrain further progress, prosperity, security and stability.
