Education Excellence Award panel meets school directors in Bahrain

The Evaluation Committee of Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Award for Excellence in Educational Performance held a meeting with directors of 15 participating schools yesterday. The schools have been selected after securing a “distinction” grade based on the national standards for qualifications in preparation for the sixth field visit of March 2016.

At the beginning of the meeting, the school principals were informed of the frameworks of the award, which is based on four education areas: school leadership, teaching and learning, school environment and school activities.

The teachers were also informed on how they are going to be evaluated.

They also reviewed the educational goals of the award in order to reach the objective of strengthening the educational policy in the Kingdom to help schools reach the highest of standards required.

The participating schools include Ain Jaloot Primary Schools for Girls, Mariam bint Imran Primary School for Girls, Al Arooba Primary School for Girls, Sanabis Primary School for Girls, Hatein Elementary School for Boys, Rabi’a Al Adawia Primary School for Girls, Tubli Primary School for Girls, Karana Primary School for Girls, Hajer Primary School for Girls, Umm Salma Primary School for Girls, Al Sehla Primary School for girls, Sumaya Primary School for Girls, Umm Ayman Primary School for Girls, Al Rowdha primary School for Girls and Zubaida primary School for Girls.
