BIPA adopts CFS apps
Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) has completed the administrative procedures regarding the use of the applications of Central Financial System (CFS), which is approved by the Ministry of Finance.
The applications aim to follow the financial and accounting systems and implement the provisions of the Standard Finance Manual (SFM), in line with the Cabinet’s directives and BIPA’s commitment to standardise the financial laws and systems in all the governmental institutions and municipalities. BIPA carried out an advanced step by using Workflow System to transfer financial transactions through the system without sending them manually, which reduced the use of papers and the expenses of transportation.
BIPA valued highly the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Finance officials in helping eliminate duplicate data entry, save costs, ensure BIPA does not exceed its budget and provide a central mechanism of government financial transactions.
