MERS: Bahrainis in S. Korea cautioned

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged Bahraini citizens currently in South Korea to take caution due the outbreak of Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) in the country.
In a statement, the Ministry called upon the Bahraini nationals to abide by the safety guidelines issued by the competent local authorities there. The warning comes exactly two weeks after South Korean health officials confirmed the country's first case MERS in a male patient, who recently returned from Bahrain. The South Korean authorities stated that the 68-year-old man was in stable condition after being treated for a high fever and cough.
In a press statement issued the next day, Bahraini Health Ministry said that Bahrain remained MERS free.
