A person suspected of sheltering three wanted fugitives was questioned by the Public Prosecution. The suspect, in his forties, is in police custody and prosecutors extended his detention by another 15 days, pending investigations into his case.

He was nabbed after the authorities received a tip off that the accused was hiding four fugitives in his Al Nabih Saleh home.

After confirming the validity of the information, police inspected his house and arrested him and the four men who were at large.

"A friend nicknamed Al Safroot requested me to shelter them, and I agreed. I furnished a room and made necessary arrangements for their stay. They stayed in my house for one month," the accused told prosecutors.

"Safroot also gave me money to buy food for them. They had been staying with me for a month when police raided my home," he added.
