BDF contingent participates in North Thunder drill
Manama : The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) contingency continued its participation in the second phase of the North Thunder military drill after concluding the first stage. Twenty Arab and Islamic countries are taking part in the drill, being held at the King Khalid Military Base in Hafr Al-Batin, Saudi Arabia.
The massive drill, deemed the biggest military exercise in the region, aims at protecting the Arabian Gulf states, the Arab and Islamic countries from the scourge of terror and combat terrorists organisations and cells. The second phase of the drill focused on defence strategies, military mobilisation exercises in addition to technical and administrative applications as part of preparations for the final stage.
