270,067 entered Bahrain last week
A total of 270,067 people had entered Bahrain between February 25 and March 2, said the Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow-up at Directorate Passports.
He added that 220,350 of them arrived from Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries via King Fahd Causeway, 45,328 through Bahrain International Airport and 4,389 through ports.
King Fahd Causeway, the 25-kilometre-long terrestrial link between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, was opened on November 26, 1986. It has been used by millions of travellers and vehicles ever since, making it one of the busiest roads in the Arab world.
