Outsider Donny Rover wins richest race
Manama : Outsider Donny Rover owned by Fawzi Abdulla Nass trained by Fawzi Nass and ridden by Jacob Butterfield won the seventh and richest race for the Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Cup by a neck for imported three year olds and upwards over 1,600 metres and worth BD1,000 in the 18th meeting of the season yesterday at the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club in Sakhir.
Second place went to the favourite Potentate owned by Al Nasseriyeh, trained by Allan Smith and ridden by Brett Doyle, followed by half a length behind in third by Tom Hark owned by Al Nasseriyeh, trained by Allan Smith and ridden by Tristan Normand.
Fourth place a further three quarter of a length behind was the second favourite Muraweg owned by Fawzi Abdulla Nass, trained by Fawzi Nass and ridden by Hussain Makki.
