Sakhir fuel station attack: Court ruling on March 24
Court ruling will be declared on March 24 in the case of four persons accused of attempting to bomb Sakhir fuel station.
The four allegedly attacked the station at 2:00am on November 13, two years ago with firebombs, and placed a gas cylinder in the middle of the property in a bid to detonate it.
“One of them threatened me with a knife and I fled. I left the station, and then one of the pumps caught fire,” a worker told prosecutors.
“The fire then spread to the other pumps, but it was later put out by civil defence personnel. Fortunately, there were no vehicles in the station at the time,” he added.
They have been charged with attempting to bomb a private property, arson, possessing firebombs and threatening an employee with a knife.
