Newly appointed ministers take oath before HM King

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received yesterday at Al Safriya Palace Parliament Affairs Minister Ghanim bin Fadhul Al Buainain and Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi, who took their oath before HM the King.

This was in the presence of Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

HM King congratulated the new ministers on their appointment, wishing them every success in assuming their national responsibilities.

King Hamad commended their competence and experience, which qualify them to perform their duties fully.

HM King underlined the crucial role of media in cementing national unity, disseminating the values of religious tolerance, advocating social issues and promoting Bahrain’s landmark achievements.

King Hamad underscored the importance of consolidating executive-legislative cooperation to achieve more national gains.

HRH Premier thanked HM King, stressing the Government’s resolve to carry out the Royal directives towards consolidating the National March, developing the media sector and strengthening fruitful executive-legislative cooperation.

The Prime Minister wished Al Buainain and Al Rumaihi every success to contribute alongside fellow ministers to achieving all the progress, prosperity and well-being that the people of Bahrain aspire.

The appointed ministers thanked HM King for the Royal trust, pledging to work towards implementing his directives in assuming their duties. They vowed to spare no effort in serving the nation and citizens so as to consolidate the standing of Bahrain among advanced countries.
