Theatre shows lined up for Grand Prix weekend
Manama: A pair of captivating theatre shows have been lined up as part of the off-track entertainment at the 2016 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, held from April 1 to 3 at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir.
SIRO-A from Japan and Ticket to Bollywood from India are the two international productions that will be delighting fans throughout the race weekend. There will be three performances a day for each production.
Entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Those interested in watching any of the performances must strictly adhere to the timings so as not to miss out. The schedule will be announced soon by BIC.
SIRO-A is a revolution in live entertainment, fusing mime, ground-breaking visual effects and electro-soundtrack that create a mind-blowing theatrical experience. Featuring spectacular video projection, light animation, stunning laser effects and a pulsating electro beat, SIRO-A is family entertainment like no other.
Meanwhile, Ticket to Bollywood is a high-octane production from Mumbai. With fantastic costumes and music, the show is homage to one of the world’s greatest film industries – Bollywood. The show has been toured to China, Europe, Canada, the US, the Caribbean, Egypt, Turkey, the Maldives and Japan to huge audiences and thunderous applause.
Tickets to the Bahrain Grand Prix are still available. They cost BD150 apiece for the Main Grandstand and BD120 for the Batelco Grandstand. For the Turn One Grandstand, they cost BD100 each, while tickets for both the University Grandstands and Victory Grandstand are BD60 apiece.
All tickets are for three-day access to the Grand Prix weekend. Tickets are being sold at the BIC stands in Bahrain City Centre and Seef Mall (Seef District), BIC’s official website www.bahraingp.com, or by calling the BIC Hotline on +973-17-450000.
