PM stresses MPs’ national role
Manama: Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa stressed that MPs are the partners to the government and monitors of its action.
The Premier confirmed the government’s unwavering keenness on ensuring their national role and optimising the landmark national democratic gains.
HRH Prime Minister highlighted the need to open up new horizons of Executive-Legislative cooperation regarding efforts to serve the citizens and fulfil their needs, stressing that the Council of Representatives is an essential partner in every national action.
“The strength of such partnership stems from the fact that MPs are the representatives of the Bahraini people,” the Premier explained.
Prince Khalifa was speaking as he received at the Gudaibiya Palace yesterday the Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh, MPs, Shura members and senior state officials, in the presence of former Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani.
The Prime Minister urged to deal seriously with the economic developments, calling on everyone to assume their national responsibilities in pushing development process further.
The audience voiced pride in HRH Premier’s crucial role in enhancing Executive-Legislature cooperation.
