Thumping victory for BDF
Manama : Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) defeated Banagas 8-0 to remain top of the Bahrain Industrial Bowling League after eight weeks of action at the Fun Land Centre in Manama.
Top scoring for the BDF were Fawaz Al Sisi (266) high game and (673) high series and for Banagas it was Osama Khalifa (254) game and (644) for series.
Batelco are second place in the standings after its 6-2 victory over Asry with top scorers for Batelco being Medal Salazar (250) game and guest player Mahdi Assad (587) series and for Asry guest player Faisal Salman (231) game and Ave Gomez (589) series.
Other scores (player, game, series): GPIC (Ahmad Fareed, 248, 667) bt Bapco (Ahmed Al Maliki, 225, 627) 6-2. Electricity and Water Authority (Mohammad Taleb, 282, 731) bt Gulf Air (Yousif Al Ali, 220, Nabeel Al Koheeji, 605) 8-0. Pioneers (Hussain Al Qaseer, 217, 603) drew with Tatweer (Essa Akbar, 248, 659) 4-4.
