Luqman, Nalaka shine as Ritz Carlton win

Manama : Ritz Carlton defeated Monvizo Shahzad Zafar by eight wickets in the latest matches of the BFC Sponsored BCL-CBA Division Diamond League 25 Overs Tournament at the Busaiteen Grounds in Muharraq.

Batting first, Monvizo Shahzad Zafar scored 176 for seven with Hamid (41) top scoring and Adnan (two for 27) returning the best bowling figures.

In reply, Ritz Carlton reached the target scoring 177 for two in 19.2 overs thanks to Luqman (91) and Nalaka (44).

In another match, Stallions CC edged out Riffa CC by 12 runs after scoring 230 for six in its 25 overs with the main scorers being Zaki Fayaz (101) and Omer Soyab (79), while Ashiq (three for 40) was the best of the bowlers.

Riffa CC in reply were then bowled out for 218 despite fine efforts by Zuhaib (60) and Ashiq (43) with Nabil (four for 41) the pick of the bowlers.
