Gulf Air celebrates International Women’s Day
Manama : National carrier Gulf Air today celebrated International Women’s Day, recognising female members of the airline’s global workforce with activities planned across its network, including its Bahrain headquarters.
In gestures of appreciation, Gulf Air recognized the achievements and contributions of: Supachitra Gajesanandana Gulf Air Airport Duty Manager II - Bangkok, Asha Manawar Gulf Air Reservations & Ticketing Agent - Sialkot, Lucy DMello Gulf Air Sales Support - Abu Dhabi, Shital Unadkat Gulf Air Accounts Officer II - London, Amale Saad Elchoueiry Gulf Air Sales Manager - Beirut and Asmaa Mohamed Abou Zeid Gulf Air Cabin Service Manager. In addition, a staff competition was held at the airline’s Muharraq headquarters giving winning female staff complimentary vouchers to experience the services on offer at the M?venpick Hotel Bahrain’s Rimal Spa.
With 36.6% female personnel, Gulf Air’s female workforce represent all the airline’s divisions, ranks and levels of expertise. International Women’s Day is observed each year on March 8. This year’s theme is gender parity.
