2016-2017 FDPM Fellowship registration ends
Manama : The Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister today announced that registration for the 2016-2017 First Deputy Prime Minister (FDPM) Fellowship Programme has closed.
The FDPM Fellowship Programme was launched by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, in 2015. It is designed to help mentor and develop exceptional young Bahrainis from various government entities for a career in public service leadership.
Following a comprehensive assessment process, the selected candidates will be notified of their acceptance into the programme which is scheduled to start in May.
The selected FDPM fellows will then spend a year working as full-time research fellows in the FDPM office, benefiting from advanced training in leadership, writing skills, research methods and policy analysis. The fellows will also benefit from the opportunity to interact with government ministers and senior staff, as well as supporting the implementation of government programmes associated with the Government Action Plan.
