2 stateless men to be deported from Bahrain
Two stateless men, who lost their appeals against their conviction of illegal stay in Bahrain, will be deported from the Kingdom.
The first defendant, Ali Khadad, was among the list of 72 persons who were stripped off their Bahraini nationality in 2012 for acting against the country’s interests.
The second man, Ibrahim Karimi, appeared in the list of 31 people who faced the same action for similar reasons.
It is worth noting that the appeals court is also hearing nine other cases for stateless persons who are challenging the decision of deporting them out of the country on account of losing the Bahraini citizenship.
