Bahrain to attend CSW session
Manama: Bahrain will take part in the 60th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), which is set to take place at the UN headquarters in New York from March 14 to 16.
Supreme Council for Women (SCW) Secretary General Hala Al Ansari will deliver a speech before the committee, which will discuss the outcome of the 4th International Women Conference and the 23rd extraordinary session of the General Assembly. The session will spotlight the achievements made so far in empowering women, boosting their participation in sustainable development and ending all forms of violence against women.
