GCC Endurance winners honoured
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee and Honorary President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) honoured the winners of the First GCC Endurance Championship, held at Bahrain International Endurance Village, in the presence of Dr. Abdulateef bin Rashid Al Zayani, General Secretary of the GCC and Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, President of
BREEF.
The championship’s podium was dominated by a trio of riders from the UAE with Hamad bin Dalmouk Al Maktoum winning, Saif Al Mazroo’ey the runner-up and Saeed Al Mahri, coming in third.
Shaikh Nasser hailed the success of the championship, attributing it to the constant support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Shaikh Nasser appreciated the good performance shown by the riders which reflected the success of the event.
