Leading Bahraini photojournalist Jalal Samee passed away
Manama: Veteran Bahraini photojournalist Jalal Samee, 60, passed away yesterday. He was declared dead at Salmaniya Medical Complex yesterday, after a long battle with cancer.
He was laid to rest in Manama Cemetery, behind the Kuwaiti Buildings in Gudaibiya, at 9am today.
Condolences will be received at Shaikhan Al Faresi Mosque in Buhair area in Riffa for men and at his family home in the same area for women (Address: House 2307, Road 3947, Block 939).
The deceased, who worked for Gulf Daily News, was mourned by the entire Bahraini media field.
