Ex-Bahrain student is victim of India death road

Manama : The funeral of the  ex-Indian School Bahrain student Aayush Arun Shetty who died in a motorcycle accident on Sunday in Bengaluru took place this morning.

Meanwhile it has emerged that his friend too died in the accident.

They were students of Don Bosco Engineering College in Bengaluru.

Aayush (20) and Tanmayasheel (19) were killed after their motorbike rammed into a road divider near K Shettahalli.

According to police, four students of the college were on their way to Mysuru on two motorbikes for a picnic when the accident occurred.

Shetty, a resident of Vijayanagar in Bengaluru, who was riding pillion was killed on the spot while Tanmayasheel who hailed from Guwahati, Assam, died on the way to a hospital.

The accident triggered snap protest with local people alleging that the curve near K Shettahalli had become an accident zone.

They said that in less than two month more than eight people had lost their lives in accidents at this spot. The stir disrupted movement of vehicles on the busy Bengaluru-Mysuru road.

Aayush was in Bahrain a month ago with his parents for vacation. Earlier he studied at the Asian School until 8th grade and then moved to the Indian School Bahrain. His father Arun Shetty is working at the Nasser Pharmacy as a medical representative and mother Prathima Shetty at the Indian Embassy in Bahrain.
