HRH PM calls for focusing on efforts for national progress

Manama : Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa emphasised the importance of focusing on efforts to maximise national accomplishments and urged for refrainment from preoccupation with any issues, which do not concern national, Arabian Gulf or pan-Arab interest.

The Prime Minister called for supporting all Gulf regional efforts that contribute to the revival of the Arab entity, affirming Bahrain’s keenness under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on supporting collective Arab and Islamic efforts to preserve the united Arab entity and prevent meddling in its internal affairs.

HRH Premier was speaking yesterday in a meeting attended by Speaker Ahmed Al Mulla along with Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh and several members of the Council of Representatives and Shura Council, in the presence of former speaker Khalifa Al Dhahrani.

In the meeting, the Premier cited the constantly developing cooperation between the members of the executive and legislature branches paving way for further expanding the horizons of cooperation. 

Prince Khalifa also lauded the patriotic role of MPs in representing their constituencies.
