Asian held for raping Bahraini boy
Manama : An Asian national appeared in the dock for raping a 9-year-old boy in a farm in Sitra.
The accused, aged 32, allegedly dragged the Bahraini victim into the farm, while he was playing with his friends, and sexually assaulted him.
“I was playing with my friends in the evening. I saw him looking at me and monitoring my movements. I ran away, and hid behind a mosque. But he suddenly appeared from somewhere and dragged me to the farm,” the victim said.
“I screamed, but nobody heard me. After raping me, he threatened me not to tell anybody,” he added.
The victim’s friends told about the incident to his father, who in turn informed police.
