Bahrain court rejects bank manager’s appeal
Manama: A bank manager, convicted for insulting one of his employees, had his appeal rejected.
The accused was earlier fined BD10 for his offence.
The victim reportedly sent a Friday-wish message to the accused, only to send an apology message later, stating the first message was by mistake, according to the court documents.
But the defendant responded with an insulting message.
Later, the victim filed a complaint against the defendant.
“I apologised to him and yet he insulted me,” the victim informed the prosecutors.
The event had occurred in 2013, but the legal battle just ended last week.
