Bahrain condemns terror attacks in Brussels
Manama: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the terrorist attacks in the airport and a metro station in Brussels, Belgium. In a statement issued here yesterday, the Ministry said, “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms the support of the Kingdom of Bahrain for Belgium, in facing violence, extremism and terrorism whatever its source or motivation.”
“The Kingdom expresses its sincere condolences and sympathies to the families and relatives of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to all the injured in these treacherous terrorist acts that contravene religion principles and all ethic and human values,” it said.
“While the Ministry affirms that terrorism is undermining the security and impeding to development efforts across the globe, it calls for concerted international community efforts to root out the scourge of terrorism. We have to ensure the elimination of all terrorism groups and ultimately dry out the sources of terrorism,” the statement added.
