Commitment behind Bahrain-US ties stressed
Manama: Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa said that the long-standing strategic relations between the US and Bahrain were firmly built upon a commitment to ramping up all levels of cooperation to achieve shared strategic goals.
Highlighting Bahrain’s commitment to further developing relations between the two countries, Prince Salman discussed ways to strengthen cooperation across trade and defence during his meeting with the US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, William Roebuck, at Gudaibiya Palace here yesterday. In the meeting, they also discussed issues of shared interest and recent regional developments, noting the importance of coordinating on ways to counter all forms of terrorism and violent extremism to preserve regional security.
