Bahrain housemaid’s body still in morgue
Manama: The family of an Indian housemaid who died in Bahrain are still waiting to get the body repatriated home.
32-year-old Guttula Srilakshmi died of illness a month ago in Salmaniya Medical Complex hospital where her dead body is kept in the morgue.
She hails from Podalada village in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. She was working as a housemaid in Bahrain for some years. She came to Bahrain in 2012. Her sponsor told DT News that she worked for her (sponsor) for one month only and then she didn’t know what happened to her.
The sponsor said that she will complete the paper work tomorrow, before sending the body to India.
