St. Patrick’s Day Golf Tournament success
Manama: The husband and wife team of Rob and Debbie Lane and Nils and Dagfrid Berge (86 stableford points) narrowly won the annual St Patrick’s Day Rumble Golf Tournament at the Royal Golf Club.
Runners-up were the team of David and Dena Wales, ladies vice-captain Stacey Thomas and Colin Dear (85), while the team of Phil Sadler, Peter Donkin, Jason Leighton and Gordon Bennie (82) were third.
A nearest the pin in two shots side contest, held on the 18th hole, was won by Phil Sadler, while Kevin Ross won the prize for “Most Appropriately Dressed Person.”
