Shree Gujarati Samaj (SGS) in association with VIVA  is organizing Family Holi 2016 celebration today  at Adhari Garden. Celebration will start  from  9am onwards. Attractions:  Rain Dance, Music Masti, Pool Facility, Variety of Delicious Food, Colours and Pichkaries and Dance performances. 

 

PUB’S HOLI CELEBRATION

Time : 10am to 1pm

Venue: Adhari Park

Punjabis United in Bahrain (PUB) [in association with Brandbox and Desi Spice Restaurant & Cafe] is celebrating the Festival of Colours – “HOLI” today at Adhari Park. The PUB members will get special ticket price, free entry for kids, special DHOL arrangements during Holi, 15%discount voucher for Desi Spice restaurant, live DL music & dance –morning till evening and 3 water rides at Adhari Park.

 

TOGA COSTUME BRUNCH - BUFFET

Time  12 noon to 8pm

Venue: Nicole’s Mediteranean Restaurant & Lounge

In celebrating Greek Independence Day Nicole’s Restaurant has crafted a buffet menu that will blow you away!! 

Come join us in this special day in your favourite toga costume, enjoy the food from our executive Chef Christopher Kfoury and good vibe of music from one of Bahrain’s top Djs, VJMP3. There will be prizes for best Toga costume.

A Bahraini group of 5, based around the GCC, will perform Latin American music such as Cha Cha, Bolero, Merengue, and Salsa on the opening night of Basher Alhroub’s ‘Nowhere’ exhibition. Please note that tickets are required for this event.

The “Al Areen Palace & Spa – Lost Paradise Water Park (LPOD is organizng the “1st Annual Al Areen Aquathlon” event at the ‘ Lost Paradise Water Park  & Al Areen Palace & Spa” today at 11 am. The event will be open to all individuals, ages twelve and above. The race distance will be an invigorating swim of 400 meter in the lazy river at LPOD from the start, followed by a 2.5 km run on main roads, finishing at Al Areen Palace & Spa’s main gate.

The Origamist Ossama Helmy (OzOz) from Arab Origami Center takes us on a journey with his origami shapes to meet different characters. Through a group of separate stories using the Origami art, he helps children to set their imagination free. All stories are based on the use of one squared piece of paper that is changed and altered into different shapes, according to the sequence of events of each story. This takes us, in a magical way, from one place to another and from one character to the other.

 

HOLI RANGOTSAV

Time :  9am to 12 noon

Venue: Manama Shri Krishna Temple premises

Holi, popularly known as the Festival of Colours, is celebrated on the full moon day of the Hindu month Phagun, which falls in March in the Gregorian calendar.  It is celebrated with a lot of gaiety and enthusiasm by young and old alike, who daub colored powder of different hues on each other.  The festival signifies the arrival of spring and the victory of Good. 

Thattai(Bhatia)Hindu Community  and the Nepalese Welfare Society (NWS) are organising Holi Rangotsav today at Manama Shri Krishna Temple premises from 9am till 12 noon.
