Heavy rush at Bahrain driving school
Manama: Close on the heels of a message that went viral on social media, students gathered in large numbers at the driving school yesterday to apply for a driving test date.
The applicants, mainly expatriates, rushed to the driving school after a message circulated on social media about a “one-day offer” at the school.
The driving school apparently offered the students an early driving test. According to the circulated message, anyone who applied for a driving test date yesterday would receive their test date within a week or a month.
“Apply for your driving test date today and receive the date within a week,” the message said. “To get a test date within a month, visit the driving school today,” stated another message circulated on social media.
However, it is not clear whether the messages were spreading rumours since there were no official confirmation from the General Directorate of Traffic.
