HRH Premier lauded for IFTDO award win

Manama: Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa was congratulated by various officials on receiving the International Leadership Award 2016 from the International Federation of Training and Development Organisations (IFTDO). Prince Khalifa is the first global leader to receive the coveted honour.

Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa congratulated HRH Premier, describing the award as a tribute to Prince Khalifa for his efforts for fast-track development in Bahrain and boost the Kingdom’s standing in international human development reports.

He added that the award is also a new achievement that testifies to the international community’s respect to HRH the Prime Minister.

HRH Prince Khalifa was also congratulated by Bahrain Society for Strategic Planning (BSSP) Chairman Dr Ibrahim Khalifa Al Dosari, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Chairman Khalid Abdulrahman Al Moayad and Chairman of the Executive Board of the International Federation of Training and Development Organisations (IFTDO), Dr Nasser Al Nafisee.

They said the award conferred on HRH Prime Minister was in recognition of his leading role in Bahrain’s sustainable development march.

They also wished Prince Khalifa good health and happiness to bring more achievements in the interest of the homeland and citizens.

Secretary-General of the International Federation of Training and Development Organisations (IFTDO), Uddesh Kohli, also congratulated HRH the Premier.

He also expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for the fruitful audience accorded to IFTDO delegation, praising the Premier’s unique leadership personality, modesty and far-sighted vision.
