Bahrain’s Shaikh Nasser lauds Ideal Mother prize recipient

Manama: Supreme Council for Youth and Sport Chairman, Bahrain Olympic Committee President and Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) Chairman HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa highlighted the support of HM the King to women in all fields as he received the winner of the International Ideal Mother Prize.

In the presence of RCO General Secretary Dr Mustafa Al Sayed, HH Shaikh Nasser greeted and lauded the humanitarian contributions of Aisha Ahmed Abdulkarim, yesterday.

Abdulkarim, who was nominated by RCO to represent the Kingdom of Bahrain, was recently honoured at the 3rd International Festival for Ideal Mother in Cairo under the patronage of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (ISESCO) and Mohammed bin Rashid Charity and Humanitarian Establishment.

He underlined that winning the prize reflects the care of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for Bahraini women and their abilities to achieve honourable accomplishments in international gatherings.

HH Shaikh Nasser commended on the various contributions and efforts of Abdulkarim and her devotion in planting the spirit of patriotism, love and morality in the characters of her children, who will add to the development of their homeland.

Dr Mustafa Al Sayed thanked HM King Hamad and HH Shaikh Nasser for supporting Bahraini families in international events and congratulated Abdulkarim for the international honouring.

Abdulkarim praised HM King Hamad and his concern about the development of Bahraini families, and she also appreciated the constant support of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and his patronage of RCO.

She added that the greeting of HM the King and personal reception of HH Shaikh Nasser is the biggest honour for her and a motivation to serve more in the development of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

HM the King congratulated Ideal Mother

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa congratulated Abdulkarim on being honoured in the Third International Festival for Ideal Mother.

HM King Hamad asserted that the international award is a living proof of the competence and distinction of the Bahraini women, who deserve the distinguished position they enjoy. HM King Hamad voiced pride in the achievements attained by Bahraini women at various international gatherings.

HM the King noted that
the prestigious award is the fruitful outcome of Abdulkarim’s sacrifices and tremendous efforts for the sake of raising her children and instilling the patriotic and Islamic values in them in order to serve their nation and society, wishing her further success.
