Minister Shaikh Khalid, Russian Mufti meet
Manama: Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa received the Grand Mufti of Russia, Russian
Muftis Shura Council Chairman, Shaikh Rawi Ainuddin, and his accompanying delegation.
Minister Shaikh Khalid welcomed the Russian Mufti and his accompanying delegation, praising the
constantly growing bilateral relations between the two countries.
The meeting aims to boost the horizons of cooperation between the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments and the Muslim Muftis Shura Council.
Minister Shailkh Khalid briefed the delegation about religious freedoms, cultural and inter-faith dialogue initiatives launched and hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain that reflect the country’s embracing throughout the generations in its ancient history all the various religions and doctrines in atmospheres of peaceful co-existence, tolerance, amity and unity.
