The Ministry of Interior achieved a major breakthrough in its counter-terrorism efforts as it busted a terrorist plot targeting the country.MoI investigation led to the arrest of a number of individuals who have been accused of carrying out terrorist acts.

The 14 Bahraini suspects confessed in the interrogation that they received military training from terrorist organisations abroad, such as the Iraqi wing of Hezbollah.

Announcing the capture yesterday, Interior Ministry said, “A number of individuals suspected of carrying out  terrorist acts as members of a group known as “Saraya Al Ashtar,” or Al Ashtar Brigades were arrested.”
