282,647 people entered Bahrain on March 17-23
Manama: A total of 282,647 people had entered Bahrain between March 17 and 23, said the Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow-up at the GDNPR.
He added that 223,084 of them arrived from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries via King Fahd Causeway, 56,427 through Bahrain International Airport and 3,136 through ports.
King Fahd Causeway, the 25-km-long terrestrial link between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, has been used by millions of travellers and vehicles ever since, making it one of the busiest roads in the Arab world.
